Documentation
This page describes CloudJet’s policies and requirements for using the platform.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of CloudJet’s services (“Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. The Services
CloudJet provides an enterprise SMTP Relay Service and Email Deliverability Platform. You are responsible for your use case, message content, and ensuring you have appropriate permission to contact recipients.
3. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
CloudJet is intended for legitimate business communication. You must comply with all applicable laws (including anti-spam and privacy laws), and you must only contact recipients where you have a lawful basis and appropriate permission to send.
You must not use the Services to:
- Send spam or unsolicited bulk email, including any sending to purchased, scraped, rented, or third-party lists without verifiable permission.
- Send deceptive, misleading, or unlawful content, including impersonation, phishing, malware distribution, or fraudulent claims.
- Send to recipients who have opted out, complained, or otherwise requested suppression.
- Operate with excessive bounces or complaint rates, or repeatedly send to invalid or non-existent recipients.
- Attempt to bypass platform controls, monitoring, authentication, or enforcement mechanisms.
- Use the Services in a way that threatens the compliance status of CloudJet, its infrastructure, or upstream providers.
We may require evidence of consent, list provenance, and sending practices at any time (including during onboarding), and we may deny access if we cannot verify a compliant sending model.
4. Unsubscribe requirements
Unsubscribe links are mandatory where applicable. Opt-outs must be honored promptly and reliably. You must maintain suppression lists and ensure recipients who opt out are not contacted again, including across domains or mailboxes used for the same outreach.
5. Bounce and complaint handling
We monitor operational signals including bounces and complaint indicators. If bounce or complaint thresholds are exceeded, we may pause sending, restrict features, require remediation, and/or terminate access. You must promptly remove invalid recipients and prevent repeated sending to hard-bounce addresses.
6. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services immediately if we believe your use violates these Terms, the AUP, or creates risk to recipients, infrastructure, deliverability, or compliance status. We may also place accounts into review, require corrective action, and limit sending until compliance concerns are resolved. You remain responsible for any fees accrued prior to termination.
7. Security and access
You must keep credentials secure and limit access to authorized users. You are responsible for activity under your account.
8. Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee any specific deliverability or inbox placement outcome, as outcomes depend on message content, recipient behavior, list quality, and sending practices.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CloudJet will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to conflict of laws principles. (Update this section to match your corporate jurisdiction if different.)
